How the conversion works
The method is one multiplication: the price in euros = the price in dirhams × the AED/EUR exchange rate. Worked example at a recent rate of about 0.2431 euros per dirham: a gram of 24K gold priced at 472.29 dirhams is 472.29 × 0.2431 = about 114.81 euros. The tool above always uses the latest daily rate, so its numbers move with both the gold market and the currency market. Note that the dirham is fixed to the US dollar, so the AED/EUR rate moves exactly as the dollar moves against the euro.
